For each one of the study types we may have to undertake the following steps in order to integrate data into a central data warehouse:
 

Step 1: Questionaire mapping:
 
  • Identify Questions that are “similar” across studies
  • Identify Questions that can be calibrated to “attain similarity” across studies
  • Identify common variables for respondent classification such as County, Age, Gender, HH Income, Education etc.
 
Step 2: Creation of a Master Questionnaire:
 
  • A Master questionnaire developed that carries the final set of questions that will go into the normative database.
  • The questions from the master questionnaire “tagged” in each of the questionnaires and pulled into the final database
  • A master database layout prepared.
 
Step 3: Data Integration according to the master database layout
 
  • Data cleaning, normalization
  • Pulling the required data from disparate databases and integrating into one comprehensive master database
