Indian
research and analytics firm Annik has opened
an office in Florida, US and appointed Ron Brotherton
to lead business development for its Analytical Processing
Division.
The group announced its expansion into the US, led by former TNS President

Brotherton joins with more than 16 years’ sales,
consulting and accounting experience having previously
held the post of Director, Professional Services at
business intelligence software firm MicroStrategy. Prior
to this he was Programme Manager at
automotive navigation firm NAVTEQ,
and Branch Manager at information technology consultancy
Stopka & Associates. He has also held posts at Siebel,
Bentley and Intergraph, is a certified Siebel professional
and has worked on various IT platforms, CRM and system
integration solutions.
Commenting on this move CEO Rahul Sahgal
said: ‘The opening of our US Office marks a major
milestone in Annik’s growth. By having Ron on
board, we have also added to our capability in the data
management space where we have developed quite a formidable
competence.’
Sahgal added that as the firm grows, his team will
be examining the ideal mix of onshore / offshore talent
to optimise its service delivery model.
