Raman Roy to Invest in Annik Technology Services

 
New Delhi, 06 September 2005: Raman Roy, the erstwhile Chairman and Managing Director of Wipro Spectramind, along with his team, has decided to acquire a 40% strategic stake in Annik Technology Services - one of the leading Market Research Services and Analytics companies in India today. Raman, who is referred to as the "father of the BPO industry in India", has successfully led the BPO operations of American Express, GE, and most recently, Wipro Spectramind. The investment signals a strategic intent to support the high-end knowledge related services and work with companies with depth and focus in niche areas. Annik, founded by Rahul Sahgal, specializes in the survey market research and data analytics domain. The Company helps global organizations with the execution and analysis of their survey research requirements, along with the development of tools related to data warehousing, data mining and analysis.
