Ranjan Kapur |

 |
Ranjan started his
professional career with Citibank in 1964
in Calcutta and after moving with them a
year later to Bombay started employment with
SH Benson as Management Trainee in 1966.
In the mid 70’s, Ranjan transferred
to O&M, New York where he handled the
Unilever and the Krafts General Foods accounts.
In the two years he was there, he graduated
from the American Institute of Advanced Advertising
Studies.
He returned to India in the late 70’s
and after five years moved on to Ogilvy
Singapore. Ranjan finally returned to India
in October 1993 as Managing Director of
Ogilvy & Mather, India and led the
company to become the country’s leading
and premier advertising agency. Today O&M
is a leader in the communications business.
During his tenure with Ogilvy & Mather,
Ranjan rose to become Chairman, India,
Vice Chairman, Asia-Pacific and was inducted
to the Board of the Worldwide company.
He was the first Indian to be given this
honour. Ranjan has since retired from Ogilvy & Mather
and taken on Country Manager’s role
at the WPP group which is one of the largest
communications companies in the world and
the parent company of agencies such as
Ogilvy & Mather, J Walter Thompson
and Y&R.
Most recently Ranjan has taken on the
assignments of Chairman, the Bates Asia
group headquartered in Hong Kong. Bates
Asia is a part of the WPP Group of Companies
worldwide.

Raman Roy |

Raman is widely regarded
as the pioneer and “guru” of
the BPO industry (also called the ‘IT
Enabled Services’ industry) in India.
He is fondly referred to as “the
father of the Indian BPO Industry”. He has
played a pivotal role over the last 14 years
in promoting Indian BPO and proving that
India can be a preferred location for Remote
Processing.
Raman is a pioneer
three times over, having
successfully led the captive BPO initiatives
of American Express and GE Capital out of
India before starting Spectramind in 2000.
The venture-funded Spectramind, with an enviable
leadership team and a proven track record,
was acquired by Wipro in July 2002. Raman
remained as Chairman
and Managing Director of Wipro Spectramind until June 2005, growing
the company to become the largest provider
of third party BPO shared services from India,
with over 15,000 employees.
Raman is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered
Management Accountant with a doctorate
in Management Accountancy. In his career spanning
across 30+ years, he has handled roles in
Finance, Consulting, Operations and General
Management with equal ease. Raman has a very
hands-on approach to business and has first-hand
experience and rare insights into servicing
markets as diverse as North America, Europe,
Japan, Asia Pacific and Australia.
Raman is a rare example of a living
practitioner of BPO who has lived through many successes
and challenges. As a tribute to his contribution
to the BPO industry, he was awarded the Dataquest
Pathbreaker Award in 2002 for directly creating
35,000+ jobs in India and indirectly enabling
the employment of 350,000 people by creating
the BPO industry.

Raj Dutta |

Raj has been associated with the BPO business in India for over 10 years and has in-depth knowledge of financial, operational, people and administrative dynamics of the BPO business. Raj was with Wipro Spectramind from its inception in April 2000 until June 2005 and was instrumental in the successful integration of Spectramind with Wipro Ltd.
He was the first CFO of GE Capital International Services (now GENPACT) and later on, Head of GE's Hyderabad operations.
Raj was voted "CFO of the Year" at the India CFO Awards 2003, in the segment "Managing Finance in an SME". These awards are given in recognition of excellence in Financial Management, by IMA India, an association with 'The Economist'.

Edward Quintero (Ed) is seasoned sales professional with over 24 years of Business and Marketing experience with a hands-on approach to diagnosing clients' needs and negotiating outsourcing contracts. Ed was the head of BPO sales efforts for Wipro BPO Globally.
Prior to Wipro BPO Ed was a founding member of a US based BPO firm specializing in Finance and Accounting outsourcing and from 1992 to 1999 Ed held various business development positions at Andersen culminating as National Director of Business Development and Marketing for Andersen's Finance and Accounting Outsourcing practice throughout the US geography.

Sunil Gujral |

Sunil is a technology
professional with passion for architecting
and executing scalable, secure and highly
available IT infrastructure and Business
systems.
One of the founding members of Wipro Spectramind,
Sunil’s role as Vice President of Technologies
empowered him with the responsibility for
the design, deployment and management of
WAN, LAN, Information Security, Voice networks
and Business Information Systems across all
locations in India as well as the international
points of presence. His role was critical
in supporting the company’s rapid growth
to 7 operating locations across India and
six points of presence across the globe,
supporting more than 15,000 users within
a short span of five years.
Sunil started his career as a Software Engineer
with Wipro Information Technology Ltd. From
there he moved onto He has been an active
speaker on Information Security related topics
at various forums, including the Indo US
Cyber Security Forum seminars. He is a member
of the NASSCOM National Advisory Board (NAB)
on information security and assurance. He
is also on the Editorial Advisory Board of
the Indian edition of CIO Magazine.
Sunil was nominated as the CTO of the year
2005, by the CTO Forum and Network Computing
Magazine.
